This page is dedicated to the Revell Type VII kit. The Revell kit is extremely detailed and is a popular choice of RC submarine enthusiasts due to it's large size.

I purchased this unit from a gentleman out of Georgia who had already built up the model as a surface runner. He did a very good job, although it is geared WAY too fast, able to hydroplane up at a running pace when opened all the way up!

The kit measures approximately 36" in length.

I finally updated this page! This model is very well built and highly detailed. I plan to weather it up when I get a free second or two to add some realism, but other than that, it looks really good.

The gearing is really wonky, though. Check out the videos below to see just how fast this little guy is. Plan is to install a gear reduction when I get the chance.
