My name is Bob Martin. I was born in 1976 and am currently living near Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. I am the General Manager and part owner of an HDD Brokerage Firm called HDDBroker . I am married to a wonderful woman, Renee, and we have a boy, Logan Joseph, who was born on October 11th, 2002 .

My modelling experience prior to my Disney Nautilus was limited to a few scratch-built airplanes and vacuformed plastic model kits. It was my first attempt at a radio-controlled mode of any kind. I chose the Nautilus because I was always fascinated by the movie, especially Captain Nemo's distinctive submarine boat. No submarine in history has as recognizable profile as this one. The movie's underlying theme of hope for the future has always inspired me as well.

I'm a member of the SubComittee (member #2475). This is the world's best resource for submarines in general, and has specific focus on RC submarines, and static display models. I highly recommend anyone interested in getting into the hobby to join the SubCommittee.
