What would you get if you took a SeaDoo Sea Scooter and added detail parts from a Custom Replicas Disney Nautilus? Why would you do such a thing? Would it work?

I was very recently approached by the non-profit organization "WEC Institute" found at http://www.wecinstitute.org . There is a science exhibition and fair upcoming in Michigan this weekend, and he wanted to know if I could build a Nautilus to "haul a large object through the water".
What I eventually whittled out of him was that they wanted a Sea Scooter to use in the pool there with a Jules Vernian theme. On top of it all was a deadline of July 30th, giving me only a small handful of days to accomplish this mighty feat.
A sucker for a charity, I agree to modify an existing Sea Scooter that he supplied to look more Nautilusesque (that's a good, descriptive word, right?) at no charge to support his non-profit organization.
